Rules and Reg Summary

Here in Crosswinds we do our best to have a minimal set of rules to ensure we have a harmonious yet aesthetically appealing neighborhood.  To that end, we do have rules around Parking, Guests, Rentals, Pets, Home Maintenance, Pool Use, and Contractors. (Please see the first document below called Crosswinds Rules and Regs Summary for more detail and/or the Crosswinds HOA Docs specific details).  You will also see the updated Rules and Regulations for the POA.

We also encourage home improvement projects as they increase the appreciation of our homes and the overall community. Interior improvements do not require any approvals, but exterior improvements do require HOA  Board and Design Control Board (DCB) approvals prior to work beginning.  This includes projects for your Landscaping, Roofing, Paver work, Lanai improvements, replacement of outdoor Lighting, exterior Painting, etc.   The HOA Board must review and recommend all applications FIRST and then it can be submitted to the DCB for review and approval. DCB meetings occur the first Tuesday of every month and all applications must be completed for submission one week prior.  (See HOA,DCB Application Form for Exterior Improvmt) and other key requirements docs for roofing, paint and pavers as well.

All Contractor rules set forth by the POA and the Crosswinds HOA should be followed for any projects interior or exterior.  Each Homeowner is responsible for ensuring contractors comply with all the rules.  (See ALSO the Contractor rules as a special form, photos, and deposit is required for DCB projects.  Please see your HOA BOD representative to ensure compliance.

Additional details about the Design Control Board and to obtain a Form go to this link below or call the POA at 561-743-2032. Also, any board member is here to help if you have questions.
